Tonight We're Gonna Party Like it's 1999 — Prince
This month's theme: Y2K!
Last month I had a lot of fun compiling a brief list of sites for the Mason/Illuminati column. It's always fun to explore the underbelly of the Internet and find wacky people and their paranoias. With the new year just upon is, what better to scare the wits out of people than the Y2K problem! Mac users, sit back and relax. It's not too big a concern for you.
Mr. Y2K

This is a page with everything from worried, doomsaying rants, to thought-out rebuttals and Y2K humor. Here you can also find a lot of interesting and informative tidbits, good for those that would like a general knowledge of the problem without many biases.
Federal Reserve Board Y2K Page
http://www.bog.frb.fed.us/y2k/
This page, run by the federal government, is slow, hard to get to, and seemingly already experiencing the effects of the Y2K bug. Go figure, it's government. This site aims to tell us what our government will be doing about the problem. But hey, don't we already know the answer to be "nothing?"
Y2K Survival
http://www.y2ksupply.com/
This page is for people who, like me and countless Boy Scouts, believe that man should be prepared for anything. Learn to heat your home, purify drinking water, and protect yourself from rioters. Yes sir, here we can prepare for a dark and dismal, post-apocalyptic future in the vein of those great Mad Max movies.
What We've Learned Today
Just as I've always suspected, a computer glitch will end the free world.
